Born in Naples and citizen of the world, Flavia Pantaleo holds a degree in political science and taught EU law at Rome's Sapienza University, before switching auditoriums for her kitchen in 2007.

Today, Flavia organises home dinners and cooking classes for lovers of all kinds of Italian food. Not only has she been invited to teach Italian cuisine in the United States and Japan, she has also been interviewed by numerous TV channels, magazines and newspapers, The New York Times just to name one.

A number of celebrated cookbooks swear by Flavia's mediterranean 'primi piatti', what made her dedicate her own book to her best 'pasticci' and 'timballi' recipes in 2016.
